These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PomoStyle applications for iOS, Apple Watch, and Android (the "App"), provided by Icedstudio - Le ngoc Minh ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, creating an account in, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The timer itself has no age requirement — it works entirely on your device and needs no account. Creating a PomoStyle Account for cross-platform sync requires you to be at least 13 years old, because it involves us storing your email address. If you are younger, you can keep using PomoStyle without signing in and lose nothing but sync between devices.
Accounts are created only through Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. If you use a child account managed through Apple Family Sharing or Google Family Link, your parent or guardian has already consented to that account with Apple or Google, and their family controls continue to apply.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use the App in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and you agree not to:
The App's source code, user interface, branding, logos, graphics, and underlying logic are the intellectual property of Icedstudio - Le ngoc Minh. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of that intellectual property to you — the personal licence above is all you receive. Your own content is handled separately under Your Content below.
Core timer functionality works without an account. Creating a PomoStyle Account — using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In — is optional and is only required for cross-platform sync.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Apple ID or Google Account you sign in with, and for activity that occurs under your PomoStyle Account. Please tell us promptly at support@pomostyle.app if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation. We may suspend or terminate an account that materially breaches these Terms or is used unlawfully; where reasonable, we will notify you first and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue.
You may stop using the App and delete your PomoStyle Account at any time, which permanently removes your account and its synced data. Instructions are on our Account & Data Deletion page. Uninstalling the App on its own does not delete data already synced to your account.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription and does not refund it. Your subscription is billed by Apple or Google and keeps renewing until you cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Please cancel there first if you no longer want to be charged.
You are welcome to come back. Signing in again creates a fresh account, and if your subscription is still active you can use Restore Purchases to regain access — the subscription belongs to your Apple or Google account, not to the PomoStyle account you deleted. The data you deleted, however, cannot be recovered.
The App offers two optional, opt-in sync modes for session history, statistics, categories, and timer configuration. iCloud sync stores your data in your own private iCloud database and requires an Apple ID; your use of iCloud is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions. PomoStyle Account sync stores your data in Google Cloud Firestore (Firebase) under a private per-user path so that it can sync across platforms, and requires an active subscription.
Sync is a convenience feature, not a backup service. While we take reasonable care, we do not guarantee that synced data will always be available, complete, or free from loss, latency, or downtime, and we encourage you to keep your own records of anything important to you.
You retain all rights to the content you create in the App, such as your session history and the categories and units you define. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, transmit, and display that content for the purpose of operating the sync feature for you. We do not use your content for any other purpose.
The core timer, statistics, categories, and on-device storage are free. Cross-platform sync through a PomoStyle Account is a paid subscription.
Subscriptions are sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system or Google Play Billing. Apple or Google is the seller and processes the payment — we never receive or handle your payment details. The current price and billing period are always shown in the App before you confirm a purchase.
Your subscription renews automatically. Unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, it renews for another period and your payment method is charged within 24 hours before the renewal date. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — not in PomoStyle, because we have no ability to charge or refund you.
If we offer a free trial and you subscribe before it ends, any unused part of the trial is forfeited when the purchase takes effect.
Because Apple and Google process the payment, refunds are handled by them, through Apple's Report a Problem page or Google Play's refund process. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
This does not affect your statutory rights. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep your rights under EU consumer law, including the right of withdrawal for digital content where it applies and the right to a remedy if the App does not conform to what was described.
If we change the subscription price, the change applies only from your next renewal, and Apple or Google will notify you and ask for your agreement where their rules require it. You can always cancel before the new price takes effect.
Ending a subscription never touches the data on your device. PomoStyle keeps working as a full offline timer, and your entire history stays where it is.
What stops is cross-device sync. Your data in the cloud stops syncing and we keep it for 12 months so you can resume seamlessly if you subscribe again. After 12 months without an active subscription we delete the cloud copy automatically. When you next open the App after a subscription ends, we will tell you what has happened and let you resubscribe, keep the cloud copy for now, or delete it immediately — whichever you prefer.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it. Where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on — such as discontinuing the sync service — we will give you reasonable advance notice in the App and a fair opportunity to export or delete your data.
We may update these Terms as the App evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and we will notify you in the App before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the App after that point means you accept the revised Terms.
To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the statutory warranty and consumer rights you have under mandatory law, including EU consumer protection law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
These Terms are an agreement solely between you and Icedstudio - Le ngoc Minh — not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability, failure to conform to legal requirements, or consumer protection claims, nor for investigating or defending any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, the latter takes precedence.
If you obtained the App from Google Play, these Terms are between you and Icedstudio - Le ngoc Minh, not Google LLC. Google is not responsible for the App or its content and provides no support for it. Your use of Google Play is additionally governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there.
